Unicredit communicates the resignation from the board of directors of Manfred Bischoff (for personal reasons with effect from tomorrow) and of Helga Jung, who resigned "due to organizational reasons internal to the Allianz group". The latter communicated his intention to propose to the shareholders Sergio Balbinot (vice president of Allianz in Italy and member of the central board) to replace Jung.
“The chairman of the board of directors expresses, also on behalf of the managing director, fellow directors and statutory auditors, a sincere thanks to directors Bischoff and Jung for the contribution made to date”, reads the note.
