The killer of the Berlin massacre killed in Milan

He's the Berlin killer Anis Amri the man who died last night in the Milan area, during a firefight with the police. Amri, during a normal road check in Piazza I Maggio in Sesto San Giovanni, around 3 am, pulled out a pistol and shot at the police officers who returned fire, killing him. This was reported by the Ansa agency.

According to reports from the police, the Volante would have stopped in Piazza Primo Maggio, in front of the Sesto San Giovanni station, for a normal check. The man, who was on foot, when asked to show documents allegedly pulled a gun from his backpack and shot a policeman, hitting him in the shoulder. At that point the agents would have returned fire, shooting the man, who later died. The man, who had no documents with him, has not yet been identified. The policeman shot in the shoulder was taken to the Monza hospital: his conditions would not be serious.

From the investigations by Digos, coordinated by the Milanese anti-terrorism chief Alberto Nobili, Anis Amri arrived in Italy from France, in particular from Chambery, in Savoy, from where he reached Turin. From the Piedmontese capital he then took a train to Milan where he arrived around one in the morning. Finally, from the Central Station he moved to Sesto San Giovanni where around 4 he met the two police officers who then, during a shootout, killed him.
