Tourism: Nicolaus Tour, 10 million minibond with Unicredit

Nicolaus Tour, a leading company in the holiday village segment in Italy and in the Mediterranean, has issued a bond loan subscribed by UniCredit for a value of 10 million. This was communicated by the company based in Ostuni, specialized for over 15 years in the planning of tourist packages. Nicolaus Tour currently manages 24 clubs in Italy and 6 abroad, with a turnover of 80 million euros in 2017.

The bond loan, underwritten by UniCredit, one of the company's strategic partners in capital market transactions, “is aimed at supporting the growth plan – specifies the company's press release – already launched to rationalize and stabilize financial funding. The bond loan was therefore issued with a view to sustainable finance and with the aim of producing an increase in turnover which, thanks also to the recent acquisition of the Valtur brand, will contribute to making the Nicolaus group one of the reference points in the Italian tourist panorama: over the next three years the company expects, in fact, to exceed 120 million in turnover”.

“We are firmly convinced – says Giuseppe Tanzarella, chief financial officer of Nicolaus Tour – that the minibond instrument, under the subscription conditions granted to us by UniCredit, is the most suitable solution to support the company development plan. In addition to guaranteeing stable funding for working capital, it allows us to better support acquisitions in terms of new products in Italy and abroad”.
