Tim Wi-Fi Power at a record speed for the optical fiber: 10 Gigabit per second thanks to XGS-PON (10 Gigabit capable Symmetric Passive Optical Network) technology. It will initially cost 34.90 euros per month instead of 39.90, and is available from today, Monday 10 October, in over 30 cities. Tim has reached 4.2 million units.
In detail, from today customers will be able to subscribe to the new "All Inclusive" fiber offer of the Tim WiFi Power range with speeds of up to 10 Gigabits per second in download and 2 Gigabits in upload and have at their disposal adedicated assistance with priority access to 187 and the group's shops, guaranteeing support right from the start-up phase activation. "In addition to installing the fiber, they will configure the modem and all the devices in the house with any repeaters if necessary, verifying the functioning of the WiFi in each room, also guaranteeing free after-sales assistance", adds a note from the group.
Furthermore, thanks to new Tim 10Gb modem with integrated 10 Gb optical connector, WiFi 6 4×4 standard (at 2.4 GHz and at 5 GHz), 1 10 Gb port, 4 Gb-Eth ports, 2 USB 3.1 ports, customers will be able to connect over 100 devices at home simultaneously “ making the most of the potential of the new technology”, explains a note.
Tim WiFi Power, costs
Activations made by 29 October 2022 (included) will allow access to a monthly discount of 5 euros. The activation cost, on the other hand, is equal to 19,90 euros. Existing Tim customers will be able to switch to this offer by paying 44,90 euros per month with an offer exchange contribution of 34,90 euros. Also included in the offer is the Tim 10 Gb modem to take advantage of speeds up to 10 Gbps.
