The aim of the inspector team is to discover new Bib Gourmands in all corners of Italy, from large cities to small towns reachable via dirt roads.

The quality-price ratio is certainly an essential element in the selection, but the priority is the passion for the table that creates theatmosphere of the Bib Gourmand restaurants, where you can enjoy recipes often inspired by tradition. But not only.

257 restaurants offering a pleasant gastronomic experience, with a complete menu at an excellent quality-price ratio.

“In these places – explains Sergio Lovrinovich, Director of the Michelin Italy Guide – the territory takes center stage, not always proposed in a traditional way, but always attentive to taste, product and supply chain. Among the novelties of the 2024 selection, La Locanda Pincelli - inside a former workers' club in Bologna - which offers quality, imaginative and creative cuisine, where the only concession to tradition is tortellini. In the historic center of Genoa, Il Rosmarino, a remarkable expression of Ligurian cuisine with intense and tasty flavours. From one end of the Tyrrhenian Sea to the other, at the Old Port of Villa San Giovanni: a colourful, modern restaurant, where good local fresh fish is cooked and served with a mix of imagination and classicism, with a varied selection of raw fish. Finally, a pleasant discovery was the Aciniello di Campobasso, a fun and unexpected Molise cuisine for a restaurant not to be missed for the fragrance of its dishes"

Overall, the region with the most Bib Gourmand in Italy is Emilia-Romagna with 34 bib. Second is Lombardy 29 bib and third is Piedmont 28 bib. Followed by Tuscany with 26 bib and Veneto with 20 bib
