The market electric cars is constantly growing, and with thearrival of government incentives (approximately 570 million euros allocated), scheduled for the end of February, Italians' interest in zero-emission vehicles is destined to rise.
The new program aims to stimulate sales, which in 2023 will be stops at 1,56 million, and to renew a fleet of cars with an average age close to 12 years.

In order to take advantage of the incentives, the maximum price of cars, net of VAT, is set at 35.000 euros for cars with emissions of 0-20 or 61-135 grams of CO2 per kilometre. For plug-in hybrids, the price limit is 45.000 euros (excl. VAT).
Until the new incentive plan comes into force, the bonuses launched by the Draghi government in 2022 will remain valid. From 10am on Tuesday 23 January, dealers will be able to enter the data of the purchase contracts of the cars that fall within the incentives, i.e. those with carbon dioxide emissions of up to 135 g/km, including those with internal combustion engines, signed from 2 January.

Dacia spring

Fiat 500 Electrical
La fiat 500e, produced in Turin, has a price in the basic version of 29.950 euros. The February incentives will lead to a significant reduction in prices, with a cost of 16.200 € for those who have an ISEE under 30.000 euros and opt for scrapping.
Presented in 2020, the electric Fiat 500 is available in two versions: one with a 23,65 kWh battery and less powerful engine, ideal for city driving with a range of 190 kilometers, and a top version with a range of up to 320 kilometers (458 kilometers in urban use). Equipped with a 42 kWh lithium ion battery, the 500e can be recharged by fast charge columns with power up to 85 kW, with times ranging from 5 minutes for 50 kilometers in the city to 35 minutes to recharge 80% of the battery. drums. Opel Corsa-E

The Tesla enters the list of cars that can be purchased through greater incentives thanks to the lowering of the price of the Model Y basic model. Elon Musk's car company has in fact reduced the prices of its best-selling car in Italy in 2023, bringing the cost of the basic version from 42.690 to 28.940 €.
Jeep Avengers Electric

La Smart EQ ForTwo, an icon of city cars, can be easily purchased thanks to the ecobonus incentives. The price starts from 19.210 euros without scrapping and drops to 14.210 euros if an old vehicle is scrapped. For those who have an ISEE of less than 30.000 euros and scrap a car of up to Euro 2, the cost can reach 11.460 euros, offering a real deal.
Also available in the convertible version, the Smart ForTwo EQ has compact dimensions (length of 2 meters and 70 centimeters) and an 82 horsepower electric motor powered by a 17,6 kWh battery guaranteed for 8 years or 100.000 kilometers. Charging takes place only with alternating current, with longer times (over 3 hours for 80%), but the option of a 22 kW charger significantly reduces times. Ideal for urban driving thanks to its agility, the range is 160 kilometres.
Renault Twingo E
La Renault Twingo E, an agile and easy-to-handle city car with a length of 3,62 metres, has a base price of around 25 thousand euros. Equipped with a range of approximately 190 kilometers, the 100% electric version is considered among the economical electric cars of 2024. Offered in four trim levels, the electric variant is available with an 82 horsepower engine and three trim levels, with the entry level Balanced at 24.050 euros, which with incentives drops to 18.050 euros. With an ISEE of less than 30.000 euros and with the scrapping of an old vehicle the cost would be 10.300 €.
Peugeot E-208
The Peugeot E-208 offers a range of 362 kilometers and has an aggressive look, suitable for a young audience. The basic price starts from 35.080 euros for the Active trim with a 136 horsepower engine. With the pure incentive, the price drops to 29.080 euros and can decrease further based on the Euro classes, reaching the maximum benefit of 24.080 euros if a Euro 2 vehicle is scrapped. For those with an ISEE of less than 30.000 euros, the price starts from 27.580 euros and can reach a minimum of 21.330 euros with the scrapping of a model up to Euro 2.
MG4 Electric
La MG4 Electric, one of last year's surprises, could also be confirmed in 2024 thanks to the incentives. There basic version, equipped with a 51 kWh and 170 horsepower battery, would have a price of 24.790 euros without scrapping and 19.790 euros by scrapping a vehicle up to Euro 2. For those with an ISEE of less than 30.000 euros, the price would start from 23.290 euros, with the possibility of going down to 13.750 € scrapping a Euro 2 vehicle.
DR 1.0 EV
