Thales Announces 8.000 New Hires in 2025 and Relaunches Internal Mobility with “Learning Company”

Thales plans to carry out 8.000 new hires globally in 2025, an important step to support growth in its main business sectors: defense, aerospace e of your digital ecosystem. informatics. A central aspect of Thales' recruitment plan for 2025 is the international mobility program Learning Company, which will involve over 4.000 employees in functional and geographic mobility opportunities. This program allows employees to expand your skills working in different contexts, both functionally and geographically, thus promoting professional growth within the company.

Over the past three years, the company has invested significantly in this program, creating 13 sector academies covering areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and radar, and 18 functional academies dealing with disciplines such as software, hardware, systems, industry and project management. By the end of 2025, the company plans to increase the number of academies to over 35, expanding training and development opportunities for its employees.

By 2024, nearly 90% of Thales’ global workforce has received training through these academies. In addition, the company has launched several initiatives to attract young talent, involving over 150 young people in awareness-raising events. In 2025, the company plans to host more than 3.000 interns and apprentices in France, with the possibility for around 25% of them to be hired on fixed-term or permanent contracts.

Diversity and inclusion

The policies of diversity e inclusion remain a priority for Thales. In 2024, nearly 30% of new hires globally are women, and the company has reached a major milestone: 61,5% of its executive committees include at least four women. The French giant aims to reach 75% by 2026. In addition, Thales recently signed a new agreement to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities, with an employment rate in France of nearly 7%.
