Telecom Italia: Vivendi rises to 23,80%

Vivendi is further strengthened in the capital of Telecom Italia. As emerges from the statements to the SEC, the French group chaired by Vincent Bolloré has risen to 23,80% of the capital of the Italian telecommunications operator. On February 19, Vivendi announced that it was at 22,80%.

Even the latest purchases of Vivendi on Telecom were intermediated by Mediobanca, as was the case for the increase in the stake announced in February. The French group would have invested another 120 million euros to rise to 23,80.

Vincent Bolloré, president and first shareholder of Vivendi with 14,9%, is the second shareholder of Piazzetta Cuccia with 8% and his daughter Marie sits on the Bank's board of directors.
