At Piazza Affari, the Telecom Italia Media stock took off. The share is at 0,1572 euros and has come to gain more than 8% in the first hours of trading. The push comes from the rumors reported this morning by Il Sole 24Ore, according to which today is the last day that companies have available to show their preliminary interest in Telecom Italia Media's activities. By tonight therefore, the names of the Groups actually interested in evaluating the offer could be known.
Again according to what was reported by the Sole24Ore, Al Jazeera, Sky Italia and the American Discovery Channel they would get the file. The newspaper does also the name of the Espresso group. The companies will have to evaluate the growth spectrum of La7, which could offset the large devaluation of MTV, and the fact that Telecom Italia Media already controls three national multiplexes and could obtain new ones in the future.
