Not only Italy: the financial nightmare also continues in France and Spain. The transalpine spread this morning it broke through the psychological threshold of 200 basis points for the first time in history, reaching the historical record since the introduction of the euro at 204. Every day the OATs of the second largest economy in the Eurozone suffer more and more the contagion of the crisis of public debts.

In the same minutes too the differential between the Spanish Bonos at 10 years and the corresponding German Bunds, it has reached an all-time record, getting dangerously close – in Italy's footsteps – to the threshold of 500 basis points. By mid-morning, the Madrid bar rose to 498.

The latest surge is linked above all to the result of the Spanish 7-year bond auction which took place this morning: the Bonos yield arrived very close to the infamous 6,975% threshold (XNUMX%) and the demand was not exciting.

Meanwhile, even the situation in our country continues to suffer from the enormous pressure of the markets on the bond front. For the moment, the appointment of the new Monti government has not been enough to reassure investors. The Italian spread he managed to score a high for the day of 537 basis points, to then drop slightly.
