Green Passes at school: The government approved the decisive decree on Thursday. From September, the green certificate - which testifies to vaccination with two doses (in that case it lasts 9 months) or recovery from Covid (6 months) - will be mandatory for teachers and ATA staff. On the other hand, there is no obligation for children, even if the executive underlines that vaccination is still "strongly recommended" in the age group between 12 and 19 years.
I swabs for secondary school students will have controlled prices. The hypothesis of the free anti-Covid tests, government sources explain, was instead rejected because it could have discouraged younger people from immunizing themselves.
Different situation in university, where the vaccination obligation will concern teachers and staff, but also students.
In general, in the world of education, those who cannot go to work because they do not have a green pass will be considered unexcused absence and, after five consecutive days, their salary will be suspended.

Furthermore, the Council of Ministers has established that – again from XNUMX September – the green pass obligation will also apply to take advantage of the long-distance transport (planes, trains, coaches), i.e. those involving extra-regional travel.
At the same time, the government has decided to increase the capacity allowed on long-distance means of transport from 50 to 80%, starting with trains.
Returning to the green pass, it will not be mandatory on all urban transport (bus, taxi, tram, subway) and so on regional trains. On these vehicles, the permitted capacity will rise to 80% and the new threshold will remain valid even in the event of passage in the yellow zone.
The exemption from the green pass is also foreseen on Ferries, provided that the journey does not go beyond the borders of the Region of departure (excluding connections in the Strait of Messina).
OTHER STANDARDS
The customers of the hotels who want to use the indoor restaurants and bars in the establishments where they are staying will not be required to show the green pass. Instead, let us remember that from 6 August, the green certification obligation is required to access all indoor facilities (bars, restaurants, cinemas, hotels, swimming pools).
Finally, a circular from the Ministry of Health will shortly communicate that, in the event of contact with a positive person for Covid, the quarantine for those who have completed the vaccination cycle it will last seven days instead of ten.
