Healthcare, Delta Med acquired by White Bridge

White Bridge acquired from Augens Capital and some managers of the company the capital of Delta Med, a leading company in vascular access. Delta Med, with production plants in Viadana, Brescello and Sondrio, has developed in recent years under the control of Augens Capital through the consolidation of some companies active in the world of peripheral and central vascular accesses, including systems with security and closed system, urodynamic and dialysis products, and OR procedure kits.

The operation aims to support the company's development path in the coming years and to create an investment platform to pursue a process of aggregation and consolidation in the Medical Devices sector, in Italy and in Europe. White Bridge believes that Delta Med and its subsidiaries Tipromed and BEL represent an example of excellence in the Italian panorama and that, thanks to the strong specialization and know-how gained over the years, it will be able to further strengthen its position in the medical sector. The transaction sees the reinvestment of Augens Capital, which he had acquired the company in 2015, and some Delta Med managers. The operation was financed by Banco BPM and Credit Agricole, supported by Riccardo Rossi, Giulia Lamon and Matteo Venuti of Studio Chiomenti.

White Bridge was assisted by Matteo Manfredi, Pietro Braicovich and Marco Mezzadri of Houlihan Lokey, by lawyers Leonardo Graffi, Andrea Novarese, Tiziana Germinario and Nicolò Miglio of White & Case, by partners Marco Bastasin and Mario De Blasi of Deloitte and by partner Andrea Venus by EY Parthenon. Delta Med and Augens Capital were assisted by Piper Sandler as financial advisor, EY for accounting and tax vendor due diligence, PWC for strategic vendor due diligence and by LMS lawyers Fabio Labruna and Giulia Fioramonti for legal aspects.
