Saipem has been awarded two offshore contracts in Saudi Arabia under the Long-Term Agreement in force with Saudi Aramco. The total value of the two contracts is approximately one billion dollars.

In detail, Saipem's activities for the first contract provide for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of three production modules, 33 kilometers of rigid submarine pipelines with a diameter of 34 meters and XNUMX kilometers of submarine power cables, infrastructure will be installed at the Marjan field. according to contract It concerns the EPCI of three jackets, five production modules, 22 km of rigid submarine pipelines, 5 km of flexible submarine pipelines and 35 km of submarine electrical cables.

These infrastructures will be installed at the Zuluf and Safaniyah fields. For the offshore campaign of the two projects, Saipem will employ its construction ships operating in the region. Fabrication for the projects will be carried out at Saipem’s Saudi shipyard ‘Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators’, enhancing the involvement of local industry, the group’s note concludes.
