SACE and Damiani: the talent that shines beyond the darkness of the crisis

SACE guaranteed a financing of the total value of 11 million euros to support Damiani's 2013-2016 investment plan, leading brand in the high-end jewelery sector. The feat is among the best-known examples of the Made in Italy luxury: a sector that, despite the penalization of exports due to the strength of the Euro, continues to guarantee Italy a leading role on a global level with a market that will reach a growth of 2013 billion by the end of 217.
In recent years, Damiani has expanded his international presence, especially in the former Soviet republics and in the Far East, and today directly manages 55 points of sale in Italy and abroad. In this regard, the loan, disbursed by UniCredit and Intesa Sanpaolo, is intended for the opening of new retail stores in Japan, USA, China and South-East Asia, and the implementation of new distribution agreements in Mongolia, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
