Sace and Banca Carige: 20 million for internationalisation

Sace and Banca Carige have signed an agreement to encourage the internationalization of Italian companies with a turnover of no more than 250 million euros achieved for at least 10% abroad. The agreement provides for the disbursement by Carige of 20 million euro, guaranteed by Sace at 70%, for finance activities related to internationalization and to control of foreign markets such as for example:

1. Current assets;

2. Purchase, redevelopment or renewal of plant, machinery or commercial structures;

3. Promotion, advertising, participation in international fairs;

4. Acquisition of points of sale, commercial networks, non-financial holdings, land, properties abroad.

The director of the Sace office in Milan, Luis Cuttica, underlined how the companies that have managed best to counter the effects of the crisis are those that have been able to focus on and invest in new markets with high potential. In this sense it is thought the agreement caught up with Carige why makes the necessary resources available to support internationalization processes. For the Manager of Banca Carige's business services, Pier Giorrgio Saladini: “This agreement represents a further opportunity for our client companies that intend to overcome the current economic situation by approaching or strengthening their presence on foreign markets. Carige thus confirms its attention to businesses and the local area. It is necessary that every component of the economic fabric offers its own contribution to the relaunch of our economy and the collaboration agreement with SACE goes in this direction”.
