Sace: agreement with Kazakhstan and Brazil for exports

The first agreement is with Kazexportgarant: the parties undertake to strengthen the collaboration to identify possible synergies and new business opportunities - The second agreement is with Abgf and "lays the foundations of a collaboration that will allow us to bring out new important opportunities".

Sace: agreement with Kazakhstan and Brazil for exports

Sace today signed two important cooperation agreements with KazExportGarant and ABGF, the Kazakh and Brazilian export credit companies. The agreements provide for the identification of possible areas of collaboration and the development of joint strategies aimed at supporting the projects of Italian exporters and investors in Kazakhstan and Brazil.

KAZAKHSTAN

Sace and Kazexportgarant, the Kazakh export credit company, today signed a memorandum of understanding intended to strengthen the collaboration between the parties through the identification of possible synergies and new business opportunities. 

Signed in Shanghai as part of the Annual General Meeting of the Berne Union, the international association that brings together the main export credit insurers, the agreement provides for a mutual commitment to facilitate and further develop trade and economic cooperation between Italy and Kazakhstan by exchanging information and sharing best practices.

"The memorandum of understanding signed today confirms our interest in actively supporting the economic and commercial relations between the two countries and in contributing to the identification of new cross-border opportunities for Italian companies", said Michal Ron, vice president of Berne Union and Managing Director of the International Business of Sace.

The agreement also provides for the possibility for the Kazakh company to make use of a technical assistance program provided by Sace in order to acquire know-how and improve the tools to support internationalisation.

BRAZIL

Sace and Abgf – Agência Brasileira Gestora De Fundos Garantidores E Garantias – have signed a memorandum of understanding intended to strengthen the collaboration between the parties and to identify possible new opportunities for exchange and investment between Italy and Brazil.

“This initiative lays the foundations for a collaboration that will allow us to bring out important new opportunities in a market of primary interest for Italian exporters. – declared Michal Ron, Vice President of the Berne Union and Managing Director of the International Business of SACE. “With 1,4 billion euros, Brazil ranks first in our portfolio of operations in Latin America. We know that it is an important destination for our businesses, and for this reason we have been present in the country since 2008 with an office in São Paulo, which also acts as a hub for other South American countries".
