The edition promises to be one of the most anticipated events in the panorama ofnational and international modern and contemporary art, conceived and directed by Alessandro Nicosia, produced by COR Creare Organizzare Realizzare with the artistic direction of Adriana Polveroni and promoted with Eur SpA
140 Galleries present
They are exactly 140 national and international galleries that represent the main activity of the entire event, particular visibility will be given to exhibitors from Central and Southern Italy coming from cities such as Naples, Pescara, Sorrento, Scicli, Avellino, Nuoro, Modica and San Pantaleo.
The fair's growth path continues in this direction with numerous collateral events that will liven up the corridors of the Cloud, enriching the experience of this new edition. Visitors will be able to admire the exhibitions of Pietro Consagra, Piero Guccione and Vedovamazzei and the selection of works from the guest country of this fourth edition, Portugal. The Puglia Region, in collaboration with the Pinacoteca “Giuseppe De Nittis” of Barletta and the Fondazione Museo Pino Pascali of Polignano a Mare, will present an unprecedented meeting between Giuseppe De Nittis and Pino Pascali curated by Adriana Polveroni.
Institutional collaborations
Institutional collaborations with the are confirmed Ministry of Culture, with the special participation of some of its most representative museum and cultural institutions such as the General Directorate of Contemporary Creativity, with the MAXXI Foundation – National Museum of 21st Century Arts, with theCentral Institute for Graphics, with the General Directorate of Archives and the Museum of Civilizations, up to the Lazio Region and Rome Capital who have supported the project since the first edition; Rome Capital with the interesting exhibition on Giulio Aristide Sartorio, the Lazio Region with the galleries of the territory. Main sponsor Banca Ifis which, through Ifis art, supports Roma Arte in Nuvola to promote and enhance the enjoyment of art and its social impact. For the occasion, Banca Ifis will set up a space that will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the production of one of the greatest Italian artists of all time: Antonio Canova. At Roma Arte in Nuvola, 12 unpublished busts of the Venetian master will be exhibited, recently discovered and restored thanks to the support of Ifis art.
The Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture will present to the public a focus on photographic and video productions, acquired through some of the most important national and international programs supporting Italian art: Strategia Fotografia, Italian Council and PAC – Piano per l'Arte Contemporanea. In addition, a selection of images from “Atlante Architettura Contemporanea” will be screened, a commissioned project, in collaboration with MUFOCO Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea and Triennale Milano, thanks to which ten young authors, identified through a public selection, have traveled the entire Italian territory to tell over 250 contemporary architectures

The General Directorate of Archives of the Ministry of Culture will participate for the first time with an information island, exhibiting historical documents and original works, including the proceedings of the trial relating to the Vajont disaster and letters from Aldo Moro's prison. The Central Institute for Graphics, on the other hand, will exhibit a selection of works, including recently acquired ones, representative of the variety and quality of its collections, with particular reference to the twentieth century. Among the artists exhibited: Giorgio Morandi, Fausto Pirandello, Filippo de Pisis, Franco Gentilini, Emilio Isgrò, Alberto Burri, Jannis Kounellis.
From the MAXXI collection instead, the following will be exhibited: Casa senza titolo (1999) by Sislej Xhafa, located on the forum floor of the Nuvola, and Climbing (2000) by the duo Vedovamazzei, set up inside an exhibition area dedicated to them. Through Casa senza Titolo, presented for the first time at the Venice Biennale in 1999 during the bombing of Kosovo by NATO, Xhafa focuses on the representation of national identity (in this case his own, Albanian). Climbing was produced on the occasion of the first edition of the Premio per la giovane arte italiana (2000) whose theme was “Migrations and Multiculturality” and juxtaposes, in an ironic way, an iron chandelier, a mountaineering ladder, an Argentine fox sleeping bag by Prada and a cardboard bedside table.
Il Portugal, is present with with “Once Upon a Time in the Sun” (A trip around the sun), edited by Sandra Vieira Jürgens, curator and critic specialized in contemporary art and in the exploration of new artistic avant-gardes. Furthermore the fair will offer visitors a journey through installations, performances, talks and many other special events.
