Black smoke in the Chamber on recognition of the State of Palestine. The discussion in the chamber on the motions presented by the 5 Star Movement and Avs which commit the government to the recognition of the Palestinian state ended with a stalemate and update to a date to be defined. Lega and Forza Italia did not intervene in the debate.
Only one FdI deputy speaks for the government

A state for the Palestinians serves to fill an injustice towards a people who have the right, like all peoples, to their own self-determination and also to heal a tear in the fabric of international law that has lasted for 77 years, but it also serves to guarantee peace ”.
