Valle d'Aosta regionals: new exploit of the League

Il Carroccio makes the en plein in Northern Italy, growing also in the last region called to vote, Valle d'Aosta.

When almost all of the ballots were scrutinized (over 62 out of 67.162), as expected, the Union Valdotaine it confirms itself as the first party with a provisional percentage of 19,15, with more than 14 percentage points less than what it achieved in the elections 5 years ago. Immediately after, there is the League, which currently stands at 17,1%, threatening the primacy of the regional party which until this morning seemed to be absolutely certain and sanctioning - once again - its growth in Northern Italy which began with the vote national event on March 4th. Not only that, if the provisional data were confirmed by the final results, the League would return to the regional council of Valle d'Aosta after 20 years.

The third "place in the standings" is occupied by the Ac-Sa-Pnv with 10,7%. then theUVP with 10,4% and the Movement 5 Stars, with a percentage of 10,48%. Alpe (8,9%), Civic Commitment (7,6%), Mouv' (7,1%) Confirmations – negative this time – also from Democratic Party, stuck at 5,5% and Forza Italia (2,2%). Both parties risk remaining outside the regional council.

We underline that the data provided are still partial and are essentially based on the votes of the centralized poles of Aosta, Fenis and Verrès. The drop in pentastellati is also significant. In the elections of March 4, the candidate of the M5S, Elisa Tripodi, who later became a deputy, had won 24,10% of the votes, 14 percentage points more than today. However, in the previous regional elections in 2013, the Five Stars were 6,62%.
