One of the areas in which Made in Italy continues to stand out, not just for his excellence and for quality, but also for the constant affirmation on foreign markets, it's surely the ceramic machinery sector. Defined by Director General of ICE, Roberto luongo, such as "one of the spearheads of Italian exports”, the ceramics and bricks produced in our country boast a slice of the world market estimated at 60%, a figure that takes the form of around 1.300 million euro as regards exports of the sector (and up by 1% compared to 2012).
To continue the process of expansion of the ceramic sector on world markets, theICE Agency and ACIMAC (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics) have decided to encourage the participation of Italian companies in the main international events concerning the exhibition and promotion of ceramic machinery from all over the world. The initiative is, to tell the truth, already been going on since last January and it will continue until the end of 2014. The first event saw Italian companies participate in the initiatives of Novosibirsk (Siberian capital). In March it was the turn of the Brazil, where our companies took part in the Revestir fair (in São Paulo). On the occasion of the Brazilian event, local companies had the opportunity to occupy an area of no less than 425mXNUMX. The Brazilian fair will be followed, over the next few months, by the participation of Italian ceramic companies in the events of Jakarta (Keramika), Guangzhou (Ceramics China) and back into Russia at the MosBuild fair in Moscow where Made in Italy products will occupy approximately 800 square meters of space. In autumn, the companies will return to exhibit at the main event dedicated to the ceramics sector, Technclay (in Rimini from 22 to 26 September) and will close the year with a entrepreneurial mission in Vietnam.
The conclusion of the promotional process in one of ASEAN countries, Vietnam in fact, is anything but a coincidence. It is, in fact, the Asian market, and in particular that of the ASEAN countries, which has revealed itself as one of the main buyers of Made in Italy ceramic machinery in recent years.
