Prelios rips on the Stock Exchange: rumors of foreign investors arriving

The stock takes off on the Stock Exchange Prelios, which at the beginning of the afternoon came to gain over 20%, to 0,4094 euro, posting the best rise of Piazza Affari.

The wave of purchases on the company's shares was triggered by some press rumors about an interest from abroad in the new real estate services company which will be born within the year with the spin-off of the investment division from Prelios.

According to Corriere della Sera, at least three international operators have come forward for a key shareholding role:

1) the American Starwood Capital, very active with the Roma stadium project and with the purchase of assets from the Parnasi group;

2) the bottom Quantum Strategic Partnersmanaged by Soros fund management which has already invested in the real estate company Igd, specialized in the commercial sector;

3) the CB Richard Ellis, one of the global brick and mortar giants.

The name of the Chinese girl is also circulating Fosun which, in recent months, bought the former Unicredit headquarters in Piazza Cordusio, in Milan.

Last August, Prelios' board of directors approved the separation of real estate investments and co-investments from those of services. The former will be transferred to a vehicle into which a 12 million capital increase reserved for Pirelli, Intesa Sanpaolo and Unicredit will flow. For Prelios, on the other hand, an increase from 66,5 million is expected.
