PMI: XXII session of the Italy-Russia task force

The bilateral forum for economic cooperation will take place in Nizhny Novgorod from 27 to 30 May with topics such as energy, new technologies, mechanics and logistics, plus two seminars on internationalization and tourism promotion.

PMI: XXII session of the Italy-Russia task force

The Ministry of Economic Development announces that the next session of the Italian-Russian task force on collaboration for the development of SMEs and districts will take place in the Russian region of Nizhny Novgorod, 440 km southeast of Moscow, from 27 to 30 May. It is a economic-institutional forum, in which the main Italian and Russian institutions responsible for the development and internationalization of SMEs are called to participate such as Regions, Trade Associations, Federations, Confederations, Consortia, Universities, Technological Poles, the Chamber of Commerce system, the trade fair system, as well as the Italian business world.

Following the session held in Italy last October, the works of Nizhny Novgorod will be mainly focused on the development of collaboration in the following sectors, which will be the subject of specific Thematic Tables:

  • Energy from traditional and alternative sources, such as technologies related to energy saving, water purification and waste treatment;
  • New technologies in the construction, wood, furniture, nursery gardening and home automation sectors;
  • Mechanics, automotive components, mechatronics, electromedical equipment, nano and biotechnologies;
  • Logistics, shipbuilding and yacht building, logistic ports.

Furthermore, there are foreseen two Seminars entitled "Financial instruments to support the internationalization of SMEs in reciprocal markets" and "Mutual promotion of the tourism sector", of which the latter will be followed by bilateral meetings, upon request, between institutional actors and tour operators of the two countries.
