“The second quarter will probably not be the turning point”. This was underlined by the Minister of Labour, Enrico Giovannini, regarding the Italian GDP. Today's new data for the first quarter showed a trend in consumption, investment and exports that went "not only badly, but worse than we expected". Giovannini, on the other hand, underlined the desire for a recovery: “When will the recovery be? In the third quarter? In the fourth? There is a desire from companies to say that rock bottom has been reached”.
