Poste Italiane and Inps have communicated the calendar for payments of February 2021 pensions.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in the last months the dates of the payments were brought forward and staggered over several days. The aim is to avoid gatherings at post offices that could endanger the health of pensioners and workers. “Due to the important spread of the Covid-19 virus, the company recalls the need to act responsibly in compliance with the indications of the authorities. In this sense, the desire to continue to guarantee an essential service for the life of our country, combined with the need to protect the health of customers and employees, requires the adoption of measures that comply with the regulatory provisions currently in force, explains Poste Italiane .
FEBRUARY 2021 PENSIONS: ACCREDITATION FROM MONDAY
Poste Italiane, through an article, announced that pension payments valid for the month of February 2021 will start from Monday 25 January. The first to receive the credit will be holders of a savings book, BancoPosta account or Postepay Evolution. "Postamat, Carta Libretto or Postepay Evolution cardholders will also be able to withdraw cash from over 7.000 ATM Postamat, without needing to go to the counter", underlines the company led by Matteo Del Fante.
FEBRUARY 2021 PENSIONS: THE CALENDAR
Retirees who collect their pension in cash at the post office will have to check the calendar prepared by Poste Italiane before going to the counter. As has happened in recent months, in fact, 6 different shifts have been established following an alphabetical criterion.
Below the Complete calendar. The letters refer to the initial of the surname:
- from A to B: Monday 25 January
- from C to D: Tuesday 26 January
- from E to K: Wednesday 27 January
- from L to O: Thursday 28 January
- from P to R: Friday 29 January
- from S to Z: Saturday morning 30 January.
It is mandatory to show up at the counters wearing a mask and respect the rules of distancing.
Finally, it should be remembered that pensioners over 75 who have to collect their pension in cash at the counter and who have not already delegated other subjects, can request to receive the cash sums free of charge at their home, delegating the collection to the Carabinieri.
CREDIT ON THE CURRENT ACCOUNT
Retirees who receive the pension in their bank current account will find the credit on the first bankable day of the month, i.e. Monday 1 February 2021.
Those who rely on banks, on the other hand, will still have to wait for the first bankable day of the month, Monday 1 February 2021.
