Pec, the list of all online addresses

Certified e-mail replaces sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, but the main obstacle to its use is the difficulty with which it is possible to find the right address for the recipient. However, there are two institutional sites with complete lists of all Pecs.

Pec, the list of all online addresses

Sending a Pec is certainly easier and more practical than sending one registered mail with return receipt after standing in a long line at a post office. The legal validity is the same and a handful of clicks are enough to send the certified email. Yet the dilemma of those who are forced to send a registered letter and choose to use certified e-mail is precisely linked to those few clicks. Not all companies, in fact, devote particular attention to the easy retrieval of their certified email address on the home page of their site. And the Public Administrations are unfortunately not far behind.

Fortunately they exist well two sites institutions where to find a exhaustive list of all of these addresses. The first, created by InfoCamere, is dedicated to companies and belongs to the Ministry of Economic Development:

INI-PEC

The second instead is part of the website of the Agency for Digital Italy, more properly it is a section of the Index of Public Administrations of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers:

INDEX-PA

These two tools collect the all of the Pec addresses of companies, professionals and public administrations present in the Italian territory, obliged by article 16 of the decree law of 29 November 2008, n. 185, converted, with amendments, by law 28 January 2009, n. 2 to have a certified email address.

Without the need for authentication or additional programs, anyone can access to the search section of the respective portals. The indices are promptly updated with data from the Business Register and from the Orders and Boards to which they belong, in the manner established by law, as well as from the PA archives.

If you do not know the exact name of an institution or public office to contact, you can also browse through various lists:

– List by alphabetical order
– List by category
– List by geographical area
– List by tax code
– List by service
– List by unique office code
– List for using pec-cecpac
– List by presence on social networks
– List for the use of minority languages

The results provided can also be collected by downloading CSV files for the online address books, which are also compatible with most smartphones or, in the case of PECs of the PPAA, by downloading files in XLS (Excel) format.
