Parmalat: 2013 revenues at 5,35 billion (+3,7%), Ebitda rises to 437 million

Benefiting from Lag's contribution throughout the year and including the Brazilian company Blkis acquired in the third quarter, Parmalat recorded revenues of 2013 million euros and a gross operating margin of 5.350,3 million in 437,2 – Estimates for 2014 a turnover and a GOP growing by 3% .

In 2013 Parmalat recorded revenues of 5.350,3 million euros and a gross operating margin of 437,2 million, also benefiting from the contribution of Lag for the entire year and including the Brazilian company Blkis acquired in the third quarter, despite a rather unfavorable exchange rate effect.

At constant exchange rates and perimeter the change is up by 3,7% compared to 2012, as regards turnover, while the EBITDA is up by 2,8%.

Although the first two quarters may still be affected by the difficulties deriving from market trends and the price of milk, for 2014 Parmalat expects net sales and EBITDA to grow by 3%. 

Meanwhile, this morning the majority of the members of the C resignedda of Parmalat, effective from the approval of the 2013 financial statements. 

On the Stock Exchange, around 17.15 pm, Parmalat shares were up by 0,32.
