Bloomberg has published the2023 edition of his Gender Equality Index (GEI) on gender equality. In the new edition they are present 484 companies from 45 countries in 11 different market sectors, selected from over 11.700 companies.

What is the Gender Equality Index

The GEI, developed in collaboration with experts in the field, offers the possibility of viewing thecommitment to gender equality of the most big companies listed in the world.

The benchmark index created by Bloomberg measures thegender equality through five pillars: female leadership and talent development programs, equal pay and equal pay and gender equality, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies and pro-female corporate culture.

21 Italian companies present

THEItaly confirms progress on the issue of gender equality. as in2022 edition are 21 companies Italians present.

They are confirmed in the standings Terna (5th consecutive year), Ivy (4th year), Intesa Sanpaolo, Enel (4th time), Eni (2th year), That, Leonardo (3th year), Inwit (2th year), ERG (2th year), Mediobanca (5th time), Iren, A2a, Banco BPM, Saipem, Snam, Telecom (3th time), Fineco, Unicredit, Poste Italiane, STMicroelectronics NV. Enter the index for the first time Banca Mediolanum.

A good confirmation if you think that in 2019, the companies included were only 4.
