Training on the job security also passes through immersive reality. It is with this approach that the project “Prevention of accidents at work on construction sites: the case Open Fiber” conquered the Next Excellence Award 2026in the Health and Safety category, an award given during Ambiente Lavoro, the trade fair dedicated to safety in the workplace.
The award, in its first edition within the event, was conferred to the project presented by FORMart together with Open Fiber and SolidColor during the Digital Learning Workshop. At the heart of the initiative is an experiential training system that aims to simulate real-world construction site situations through immersive environments and live action footage techniques.

The goal is to make the recognition of risks and operational criticalities more immediate. This method attempts to bridge the gap between theory and practice, often a limitation of traditional safety training.
The project stems from a co-design process led by Open Fiber, which defined regulatory content, operational tools, and strategic guidelines. This framework was the basis for a collaboration with FORMart, which oversaw coordination and project management, and with SolidColor, a company specializing in the development of immersive technologies used in the program.
