The Italian industry confirms its leadership in the production of superyachts, setting another record. Out of a total of 1.024 yachts over 24 meters ordered worldwide, the Italian industry has 523 under construction, 51%, and it is the first time rising above 500.

The exhibition spaces, over 200 thousand square meters, increased overall by 3,7% compared to the last edition (despite limitations imposed by the works in progress for the reconstruction of the waterfront and for the restructuring of the exhibition area) and in the water of 5,2, XNUMX%.

There will also be a new dock available to Italy's three leading brands: Saint Lawrence Yacht (listed on the Milan stock exchange on the Euronext Star market), the Ferretti group (listed in Hong Kong) e Azimuth. As many as 42 construction sites have had to give up and have been put on a waiting list for 2023.
Absent from the Show, however by choice, is the other major Italian nautical company la Tisg (The Italian Sea Group), the first Italian shipyard in the production of luxury yachts over 50 meters up to over 100 meters, listed on Euronext Milan.

According to industry data, the three groups Sanlorenzo, Ferretti and Tisg together they have a world market share of more than 50%, with a combined production of 56 models per year out of the 110 models per year worldwide, thus bypassing the US, French and British markets which had previously been patrons.
Sanlorenzo shares rose by 0,6% to 31,70 euros in the late morning. Tisg share up by 1,68% to 4,83%.
