The school-work alternation also arrives abroad. This is the opportunity offered to students of the last three years of technical and professional institutes and high schools thanks to the collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Unioncamere, through Assocamerestero. By virtue of this agreement, in fact, the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad of 12 countries of the European Union and Turkey will host alternation courses that will be carried out by young people either at the chamber structures or, with the tutoring of the Italian Chambers at abroad, at affiliated foreign companies.
The initiative is part of the perspective of the provisions of theNotice PON MIUR "School-Work Alternation", which places particular emphasis on the School-Work Alternation projects relating to international mobility by providing for two methods: "School-Work Alternation Pathways Abroad" and "Corporate Internships/Internships Abroad".
The recent reform of the chamber system, definitively approved at the end of last year, entrusts the Chambers of commerce with a series of new functions in the field of educational guidance and school-work alternation. Among these, also the management of the national register for school-work alternation, a (virtual) meeting point between schools and structures that are available to host students in alternation and apprenticeship experiences to offer them a learning period on the job.
