The "ICT-Digital Agenda" tenders and the "Sustainable Industry" tender are ready to go, for which the Ministry of Economic Development it will allocate 400 million euros to companies investing in large research and development (R&D) projects. The ministerial decree signed today, in fact, the terms and methods of implementation of tenders.
Preliminary applications can be presented from 25 June for the call "ICT-Digital Agenda” and from 30 June for the tender “Sustainable industry”: it will thus be possible to access the subsidies of the Sustainable Growth Fund aimed at financing large research and development projects in the information and electronic communication technologies (ICT) sector, consistent with the Italian Digital Agenda, and in the sector of so-called sustainable industry.
In detail, "ICT-Digital Agenda" aims to support projects capable of exerting a significant impact on the development of the country's production system and economy, thanks to a single digital market based on fast and super-fast Internet and on interoperable applications and developing specific Enabling Technologies.
"Sustainable industry", on the other hand, deals with projects aimed at pursuing an objective of sustainable growth, to promote an efficient economy in terms of resources, greener and more competitive, which uses the Fundamental Enabling Technologies, also defined in the Horizon 2020 programme.
