Anfia, the association that represents the interests of the automotive sector in Italy, obtained the establishment, at the Ministry of Economic Development, of a special task force aimed at relaunching the industry.
In this Consulta "The public and private components will share and propose industrial policies aimed at safeguarding, relaunching and growing the manufacturing activities of one of the leading sectors of the national economy, which accounts for 11,4% of GDP and employs 1,2, XNUMX million workers”, explains a note from the ministry.
The Consulta will address the current state of crisis in the sector by defining a structured and medium-term plan, on the model of what has been done in Great Britain with the Automotive Council, aiming at concrete results for the sector, with the activation of industrial policies which favor investments, dimensional growth and the internationalization of companies, identifying technological roadmaps and new forms of sustainable and integrated mobility.
