Mediobanca, Bolloré rises to 8%

The stake, slightly adjusted compared to the previous 7,9%, thus reaches the maximum ceiling allowed by the agreement - The previous 0,13% in Generali confirmed.

Mediobanca, Bolloré rises to 8%

Vincent Bolloré slightly increased his stake in the capital of Mediobanca, bringing it from 7,9 to 8%, the maximum ceiling allowed by the pact. The figure emerges from the presentation of the accounts of Bolloré group.

The documentation - which also confirms the 0,13% stake in Generali - recalls that the stake in Mediobanca had been increased from 7,46% to 7,9% in 2015, then reached "8,0% in March 2016”.

Bolloré is Mediobanca's second largest shareholder, behind Unicredit which has 8,6%. The market value of the shares in Piazzetta Cuccia and Generali as at 31 December last - the slides also specify - amounted to 649 million.

On the other hand, the value of the 4,04% stake held by Bolloré in Vivendi, Telecom Italia's largest shareholder, was equal to 14,4 billion.
