What will be the name of the new one Alfa Romeo?
The new one will be presented on 24 June in Arese berlina of Alfa Romeo – declared the managing director of the FCA group. In fact, this sedan should, according to the group's forecasts, relaunch the sales of the historic Italian car manufacturer with the help of eight new models by 2018.
Sergio Marchionne spoke at a press conference at the 85th Geneva Motor Show explaining his doubts about the name that will be given to the car. There are two possible choices: "Giulia" which would recall the famous sports sedan of the 70s. The problem would be that the sedan is not very well known in North America; on the other hand, however, in Europe it would arouse the attention of many enthusiasts.
The second option is the initials "100" which would refer to the centenary of the house which will celebrate 24 years on June 2015, 105. According to experts in America, this acronym would be highly appreciated due to the fact that acronyms are widely used in the American car market even if less so in Europe.
Which will the group prefer: to favor sales in Europe or in the USA?
We just have to wait to find out what the name that will eventually be chosen will be.
