Published in the European Journal on gang of tender for the renewal of concession of the Lotto game. The winning company will have a 9-year concession. The starting bid for the tender for the Lotto game is 700 million euros.
The evaluations will be carried out using two criteria: the economic offer which will account for 70% of the overall evaluation and the organizational technical offer on which the remaining 30% of the evaluation is based.
Applications to participate must be submitted by 16 pm on 16 March. Envelopes will be opened on March 30th.
The winner of the tender on the game of Lot will have a fee equal to 6% of the collection. In 2014, Lotto wagers amounted to €6,6 billion.
The current concession expires on 8 June 2016 and the tender provides that the administration may arrange for an extension of up to six months should "a situation of extreme urgency" arise and "to avoid any harmful solutions to continuity in the service and in the collection of tax revenues”.
