The Council of Ministers approves the decree of doing to revive the economy

"They are measures to revive the economy." Enrico Letta speaks, commenting on the "decree of doing", the first of a certain importance of his government, approved yesterday by the council of ministers: 80 articles to boost the economy with interventions ranging from the taxman to the house, from infrastructure to justice and bureaucracy, from boating to land and the digital Agenda, from the liberalization of the wi.fi Internet to savings on electricity bills, from Equitalia to shipyards.

Among the measures there are numerous aimed at the objective of redesigning the tax authorities, making it, as far as possible, a "friendly taxman": among these is the revision of the powers of Equitalia, which will allow taxpayers in economic difficulty to spread the payment of debts tax payments up to 120 installments, compared to the current 72, while the first house becomes unattachable for tax debts of less than 120 thousand euros, with the sole exclusion of luxury homes. A measure, the latter, welcomed with great satisfaction by the members of the centre-right.

The decree also provides for an extraordinary investment in school construction which will be financed by Inail, up to 100 million euros per year for each year from 2014 to 2016. For this building plan, a standard inserted experimentally will apply, i.e. compensation for public administration delays

Then there is what Anna Maria Cancellieri has defined as "shock therapy" for civil justice, i.e. the disposal of 1,2 million backlog files, while the Minister of Education Maria Chiara Carrozza opens up to turnover in University, which will lead to the hiring of 1.500 type B researchers and as many full professors.

Access to resources will be facilitated for companies that want to invest in machinery, with the involvement of the CDP, and the guarantee fund for small and medium-sized enterprises will be strengthened.

Finally, among the main provisions of the decree there is also the complete liberalization of the Internet: to use a public Wi-Fi network, user identification will no longer be required.

Prime Minister Letta, presenting the decree, said that it is aimed at those Italians who want to relaunch the economy and can now do so, while Angelino Alfano expressed all his satisfaction, especially relating to the package of rules concerning Equitalia: "The citizen must consider the State as a friend".
