Pd lists ready, 40% of women

The electoral lists of the Democratic Party are ready. After the unanimous approval of the electoral committee and the national leadership, the Democratic Party is the first alignment to have defined the candidates. Alongside the winners of the parliamentary elections of last December 29 and 30 are the "armoured", the exponents chosen by the party. A mix of mostly Bersanian young people and women, that is, close to the Pd secretary. About 50 people go to Mayor Matteo Renzi with the exception of Roberto Reggi, the historic right-hand man.

Out of 38 leaders, 15 are women. An almost completely renewed and 80% Bersan representation. "From tonight we must consider ourselves in the electoral campaign," said Bersani. “We make the most of the advantage over our competitors. The lists are characterized by competence, pluralism and professionalism”.

The secretary will lead the lists in the key regions of Lombardy, Lazio and Sicily while the right arm Enrico Letta will be the leader in the Marche and Campania. Dario Franceschini and Anna Finocchiaro, respectively group leaders in the Chamber and in the Senate, will be the lead list in Emilia Romagna in the Chamber and in Puglia for Palazzo Madama.

The former anti-mafia prosecutor Pietro Grasso he will lead the lists in the Senate in Lazio. Among the Renzians who appear in the lists Lino Paganelli, Simona Bonafè and Luca Lotti as well as the former parliamentarians Paolo Gentiloni and Ermete Realacci. Outside, however, Roberto Reggi, the coordinator of the electoral campaign of the mayor of Florence in the primaries. Two outsiders from the press world were present: the Corriere della Sera journalist Massimo Mucchetti (candidate in Lombardy for the Senate) and the director of Rainews24, Corradino Mineo (head of the Senate in Sicily).
