Today in Davos, as part of the World Economic Forum, Intesa Sanpaolo was confirmed for the third consecutive year as the only Italian bank among the 100 most sustainable listed companies in the world in the ranking compiled by Corporate Knights, the Canadian magazine specializing in sustainability. Intesa ranked 80th out of around 7.500 companies analyzed on the basis of 21 environmental, social and governance indicators.
Furthermore, the Bank was included in the "Climate Change A List 2018" of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for its commitment to the fight against climate change and for its strategy in favor of the environment, also through support for an economy low carbon emissions. CDP is a non-profit organization that provides a global system for measuring and disseminating information related to environmental impact. In particular, the 2018 Climate Change A List includes 126 leading companies worldwide, out of approximately 7.000 companies analysed, in environmental performance and in the mitigation of the effects of climate change.

These acknowledgments follow the inclusion of Intesa Sanpaolo in the Gender Equality Index (GEI) 2019, a transversal index to all business sectors launched by Bloomberg in 2018 which evaluates the commitment and actions on gender equality of the main listed companies globally.
