Intesa Sanpaolo provides additional 8 billion euros to help families deal with price increases, from the increase in electricity and gas bills at the higher cost of consumer goods. With this intervention, the aid package allocated by the bank for businesses and households amounts to 30 billion euros. The initiative, explains a note, is also the result of constant dialogue with the main consumer associations and careful listening to customer needs.

Furthermore, if there is the possibility that the State establishes a guarantee fund for these purposes, we are available to further increase the resources allocated, making the synergy between the public and private sectors even more effective in stemming the effects of the crisis."
3 lines of action: Intesa Sanpaolo against increases in energy and spending prices
The bank has defined in detail three lines of intervention: 500 million euros intended for bank customers for at least 6 months with a maximum ISEE of 40 thousand euros and with a monthly income of at least 500 euros. They will have access to a highly subsidized personal loan, with no ancillary costs, which can be diluted over a 20-year term. The maximum amount is 6 thousand euros.
The initiatives implemented
Also, for suspend payment o remodulate the installments of mortgages and loans the Bank puts 5 billion euros on the plate. Over one million mortgage or loan customers can benefit of the initiative. Furthermore, until December, the new contracts will include the flexibility for the management of the installment free of charge. A further 2,5 billion euros will be made available thanks to the possibility of deferring purchases and payments, including utilities, depending zero ratefor a period of six months. The option can be activated directly by the customer via digital channels.
