Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking closed the first nine months of the year with a net profit of 99,6 million euro, up by 62,4% compared to 30 September 2011. The Bank of the Intesa group active in the private segment in Italy also recorded an increase in customer assets under management of over 4 billion since the beginning of the year (+6%), reaching 75,2 billion.
“The important income and growth results obtained during the year are also the result of the investment in the professional growth of our private bankers – commented the CEO, Paolo Molesini -. 2012 was characterized by the recovery of managed assets, both of portfolio management and of funds, and by the large-scale launch of the Advisory service, which represents a key element for further improving customer service, as well as for the Bank's growth in the next years".
By mid-morning, the stock of Intesa in Piazza Affari was in the red by more than one and a half points.
