Intesa Sanpaolo, Mps and Saipem save Piazza Affari which closes in a draw

Contrasted session for the European lists, pending the outcome of the Eurogroup: tomorrow Athens will have to pay 750 million to the Monetary Fund. In Milan, the Ftse Mib index closed a contested session in substantial parity: Ftse Mib index +0,04% at 23222. Madrid did better +0,18%. Frankfurt -0,31% down. London –0,24% exhausted the Cameron effect. The worst loss is Paris -1,23%.

The 1,76-year BTP trades at 12%, short maturities improve while waiting for a statement from Greece on the payment to the IMF. Today the 0,013-month Bots are going up for auction: on the eve the bond trades on the gray market at 117%. The spread with the Bund is XNUMX basis points.

Slight drop in the American Stock Exchange after Friday's leap, which brought the S&P500 index close to an all-time high. The same index today falls by 0,1%, together with the Dow Jones -0,1%, while the Nasdaq is at parity.

On the Piazza Affari stage, Saipem shone +3,4% on the wave of the announcement of the resumption of works for the construction of the offshore pipeline in the Black Sea. Banca Monte Paschi also did well +1,5% after the quarterly report and the update of the industrial plan: the capital increase will start on May 28th.

Intesa San Paolo does better +1,9% after the excellent quarterly results. At the top FinecoBank +2,65% after the quarterly accounts. The rumors about the possible role of Enel -0,5% for the construction of the broadband infrastructure via the electricity grid weighed on Telecom Italia -1,8%.

Exor slows down in the final +0,12% after the agreement for the sale of Cushman & Wakefield from which it will derive a capital gain of 722 million dollars. Well, finally, Prysmian +1,8% rewarded by Morgan Stanley.
