The bank granted the loan to the historic Bergamo-based company, through the instrument envisaged by the Liquidity Decree.

Intesa Sanpaolo has granted Impresa Percassi, a historic company from Bergamo, a loan of 12,5 million euros, guaranteed by Sace, in a few hours through Garanzia Italia, an instrument provided for by the Liquidity Decree intended to support Italian companies affected by the Covid-19 emergency. The loan, as envisaged by the Decree, is aimed, in particular, at supporting working capital. Impresa Percassi - which is based in Bergamo, the province most affected by Covid-19 - boasts a solid entrepreneurial history, spanning more than 50 years, and is recognized as one of the main general contractors in the private construction sector in Italy. The revenues recorded in 2019 amounted to over 137 million euros. Impresa Percassi, to date, has a work portfolio of over 400 million euros.

Intesa Sanpaolo, since the beginning of the emergency, has implemented a series of concrete measures to support businesses: after raising the amount of resources in terms of credit made available to the country to 50 billion euros, suspending loan installments and adhering to the advance of the Redundancy Fund by way of derogation, it is operational on all the possible solutions envisaged by the Decree Liquidity, thus providing the necessary support to small, medium and large companies.
