The ceiling has been activated, the result of the agreement signed in March, which makes 100 million available at advantageous conditions to encourage investments in growth, technologies and innovation

Intesa-Confcommercio: the limit for SMEs is underway

Intesa Sanpaolo implements the agreement with Confcommercio to facilitate access to credit for micro-enterprises and SMEs. The banking group has in fact activated from today, Friday 26 July, a plafond of 100 million euro dedicated to the members of Confcommercio and territorial Confidi

The activation of the ceiling follows the agreement signed last March at the Confcommercio Forum in Cernobbio by Carlo Sangalli, president of Confcommercio and Stefano Barrese, head of the Banca dei Territori Division of Intesa Sanpaolo.

THEobiettivo, favored by the recent reform of the operations of the Guarantee Fund for SMEs and by the participation of Fin.Promo.Ter as leader of the Confidi adhering to FederascomFidi, is facilitate the granting of credit to smaller companies, and therefore structurally weaker, less structured from a financial point of view, explains the joint statement.

The wallet, with loans with a term of between 18 and 60 months and an additional pre-amortisation period of up to 18 months, is part of the broader range of loans made available by the Bank as part of the collaboration with Confcommercio.

The operation, through the establishment of a guarantee on a portfolio of newly disbursed loans (Tranched Cover), makes it possible to inject financial resources to support trade, tourism and services, supporting investments for growth, technological adaptation and business innovation. Among the advantages for entrepreneurs in the sector are: free access to the guarantee of the Fund whose costs are borne entirely by the Bank, the absence of bank charges for the preliminary investigation, and lower rates and the application of a premium greatly facilitated for the guarantee offered by Fin.Promo.Ter.

Carlo Sangalli, president of Confcommercio-Imprese for Italy: “In a still weak and uncertain economic phase an additional effort is needed to facilitate access to credit for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. It is also through these initiatives that the development of the entrepreneurial fabric is supported and the path to growth is rediscovered".

Stefano Barrese, head of Banca dei Territori of Intesa Sanpaolo: “Today's initiative allows us to make a further growth tool available to micro-enterprises and SMEs, confirming our commitment to supporting the country's entrepreneurial fabric. The economic scenario is going through a stabilization phaseit is crucial, Today more than ever, instill confidence in businesses and support their investments”.
