Over one million Italians will have access to their integrated online social security account statement by April. It is a tool capable of offering an overview of the contributions paid even in different entities or managements.
Il Sole 24 Ore writes it, specifying that for workers born within 1955 registered with INPS and with payments in the three main managements (Employee Pension Fund, Special Management for Self-employed and Separate Management) a pension calculator will also be available, which will allow to know the date of one's retirement and the estimated amount of the allowance.
Moreover, by the end of 2013, for all younger workers, the future pension simulator will make its debut, i.e. a system of projections of different pension perspectives based on certain career profiles and on the hypothesis of continuity of contributions.
This is how the “Know your pension” operation officially kicks off, ie a program of coordinated institutional initiatives for information and pension education envisaged in the latest pension reform. This is the Italian alternative to the so-called "orange envelope", the periodic communication on the future of workers' social security which in other countries (such as Sweden) has been underway for years now.
