The best company to work for in Italy? Microsoft, Once again. This was established by a ranking drawn up by “Great place to work” and based on questionnaires completed anonymously by 35 employees on the basis of various criteria: respect, fairness in recognition, absence of favoritism and work organization in their companies.
Leading the ranking, like last year, is the IT giant founded by Bill Gates, followed by FedEx Express and Emc Computer System.
The questionnaire adopted by "Great place to work" is based on three main assumptions: the relationship of mutual trust between management and employees, the sense of pride in one's work and in the organization to which one belongs and the quality of relationships with colleagues. All factors on which Microsoft ranks on levels of excellence, to which are added the various benefits offered by the company, such as nursery school, supplementary health insurance and gym.
Not just big companies though. Because in the ranking of "Great place to work" there is also room for the best small companies in Italy, in a ranking that sees Sanofi Pasteur (joint venture operating in the vaccine sector) in first place, VL Gore and Associates (manufacturer of innovative technological solutions, such as Gore-Tex high-performance fabrics) in second and Vetrya in third (company that works in the supply of multiscreen platforms, media asset management and broadband services).
