Italian companies: Ferrero, Pirelli and Armani are first in terms of reputation

This is what emerges from the 100 Global RepTrak 2019, the annual ranking of the most reputable companies in the world, drawn up by the Reputation Institute – Worldwide, the three most popular brands are, in order, Rolex, Lego and Walt Disney

Italian companies: Ferrero, Pirelli and Armani are first in terms of reputation

They are Ferrero e Pirelli to win the podium of the first two Italian companies again this year for reputation in the world, followed by Giorgio Armani, Barilla e Lavazza, which complete the top five of “Made in Italy”. Globally, however, the three most popular brands in the world are in order Rolex, Lego e Walt Disney. This is what emerges from the 100 Global RepTrak 2019, the annual ranking of the most reputable companies in the world, drawn up by the Reputation Institute.

In particular, in the agri-food sector three of the first four places are occupied by Italian companies and more generally there is an overall improvement of Made in Italy companies with Pirelli e Armani which occupy, respectively, the 23rd and 24th position, Barilla in 31st place and Lavazza 38th, 11 positions more than last year. These companies are the only Italian ones on the list of the top 100 in the world.

More generally, they also appear in the world top ten in order Adidas, Microsoft, Sony, Canon, Michelin , Netflix (entering the charts for the first time) e Bosch. Among the most sensitive movements compared to last year, Google which falls from third to 14th position.

The Reptrak ranking is based on over 230.000 assessments collected in January 2019 on the reputation of approximately 10 companies measured in 15 markets which includes comparative assessments, trends by target, insights into market trends.
