Ilva: arrest warrant for Fabio Riva for defrauding the state of 100 million

The court of Milan has issued an arrest warrant against Fabio Riva. The charge against him is aggravated fraud for the purpose of disbursing public contributions.

The arrest warrant was signed by the Gip of Milan Fabrizio D'Arcangelo, as part of the investigation by prosecutors Mauro Clerici and Stefano Civardi, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Francesco Greco. The hypothesized scam amounts to around 100 million euros and would have been carried out through the Riva Fire holding company (through which Ilva of Taranto is also controlled), using public contributions for exports.
