The South leads the growth of exports

In the second quarter, according to Istat data, the improvement in exports was more significant in the South (+5,7%) than in the rest of the country – Basilicata's foreign sales take off (+129,6%), but the the most significant contribution in absolute terms comes from Piedmont (+9,6%), Veneto (+7,3%), Lombardy (+2,6%), Lazio (+14,4%) and Emilia-Romagna (+4,4 ,XNUMX%)

Italian exports are growing and the most significant improvements are recorded in the South. According to Istat data released this morning, in the second quarter of the year, compared to the January-March period, the South and islands saw sales on foreign markets rise by 5,7%, against +5%. However, among the regions that provide a significant contribution to the trend growth of national exports in the first half of 2015, we note Piemonte (+ 9,6%), Veneto (+ 7,3%), Lombardia (+ 2,6%), Lazio (+14,4%) ed Emilia Romagna (+ 4,4%).

On the other side of the ranking, the drop in sales abroad by Sicilia (-8,2%), Marche (-2,8%) And Molise (-3,3%) the growth of national exports slows down.

As for the individual provinces, the best are those of Torino (+ 11,9%), Potenza (+ 173,4%), Vicenza (+ 8,0%), Latina (+ 23,7%), Treviso (+ 9,5%), Trieste (+ 60,0%), Bologna (+ 7,0%), Roma (+ 9,3%), Florence (+ 7,3%) and Brescia (+ 4,9%).

According to Istat, other provinces that present a particularly sustained positive trend in exports are Cuneo (+ 10,2%), Alexandria (+ 10,5%), Frosinone (+ 11,9%), Belluno (+ 13,2%), Lucca (+ 12,2%), La Spezia (+ 42,4%) and all in the province of Savona (+ 17,1%).

Among the provinces that instead show a decrease in sales abroad, associated with a significant negative impact on the dynamics of national exports, we note Ascoli Piceno (-10,8%), Pavia (-9,3%), SIRACUSA (-12,9%) And Massa-Carrara (-44,8%).
