The national strike of workers in the motorway sector will take place on Sunday 5 June and Monday 6 June.
The news of the protest was given by Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, UilTrasporti, Sla-Cisal and UglTrasporti. The event was organized for the renewal of the national collective agreement for motorways and tunnels.
The strike will last for four hours on each working day.
As regards the timetables, the start, for shift workers, is scheduled for Sunday from 10 to 14 and from 18 to 2 at night on Monday; for non shift workers it will concern the first 4 hours of Monday.
“Despite the willingness to seek shared solutions to speed up the negotiation process and give the right wage increase to workers in the sector – explain the unions -, the employers' associations Fise and Federreti scandalously ask to discount the wage quotas they deem to be eligible for future contractual increases have disbursed in excess on the occasion of the last renewal. We are talking about a sector that is a goose that lays golden eggs thanks to toll increases well beyond the rate of inflation and which are triggered without fail every 1 January”.
