Greece: Baroin, the second floor will be ready by September

The second aid plan for Greece will be ready by September, according to French Finance Minister Francois Baroin. “We have passed the passage of the fifth tranche of aid to Greece, which amounted to 12 billion. In the coming weeks we will begin the discussion on the next Greek support plan. We need to be ready by September", explained the minister to the Europe 1 radio station. For the definition of the plan, which should consist of a hundred billion euros until 2014, Baroin highlighted the need for "solid measures on the Greek side in the field of deficit reduction and a shared effort with the private sector on the basis of voluntary work". Regarding the situation in Portugal and the risk of contagion from the current crisis, the French minister observed: "It is not the opinion of a rating agency that will solve the sovereign debt affair".
